Audi Centre Sydney Shines the Spotlight on Women in Showroom

Audi Centre Sydney is shifting their focus to women, hosting a variety of women’s start-ups and events. These events will run over March and April and Audi are inviting female driven business ventures and workshops into their showroom as a female-friendly venue.

Audi Centre Sydney is the flagship showroom for Audi Australia and their focus is now on inviting women back to their showroom, for more than just shopping, playing host to the likes of Poppy Renegade for their Women in Technology events along with The Ladies Network for their very own Women’s Networking Seminars.

With over 70% of new car sales carried out by women within Australia, Audi have taken this opportunity to make their dealerships more female-friendly. Since 2012 research has shown that women are in the driver’s seat of around 80% of all new cars sales, so it only makes sense that car dealerships would start to become more female focused.

The fact is women aren’t feeling understood when purchasing cars with over half of Australian women feel intimidated when walking into a car dealership alone; 90% admit that they felt the salesperson at the dealership did not take them seriously. Audi Centre Sydney is working hard to ensure that every customer who comes into their showroom receives the complete Audi experience.

The Audi brand has worked hard to ensure women aren’t feeling intimidated in their showrooms. In 2014 they began rolling out pop-up showrooms across Gold Coast shopping centres in order to create a less-threatening and inviting space for women to shop for cars. These events are the next step in encouraging women to visit the Audi dealership and empower them to make the decision themselves.
